But it's the best bloody place in the world, all right? And it'll die in a few days, except... Who is this hero striding across the red desert? The business of politics (attempts by the old aristocracy to unseat the Patrician) is ratcheted up a notch and Vimes, of the City Watch, is in a worse temper than usual...
